MET’s fundamental
objective is to help migrant and seasonal farm worker obtain permanent
unsubsidized employment in an occupation that pays a sustainable
wage and allows the individual to advance in both earnings and responsibility
as the client’s tenure and skill set increase. Stable, unsubsidized
employment is the key to the successful future of migrant farm workers
and their families. We can accomplish this through several methods:
- CLASSROOM
TRAINING for skill attainment and enhancement
- ON THE
JOB TRAINING for closely monitored job training
- WORK EXPERIENCE
for a new job experience in a different area
- EMERGENCY
SERVICES for supportive services to qualified applicants
