Resource Center: Our WorkForce Center features a Resource Center that can act as your personal office. You can create your resume and cover letters on a personal computer, research career information, utilize Internet, or browse the library of job search/career exploration publications and reference directories. You can also access an Employer Database which gives information on Minnesota employers. With the job search computers, you can access thousands of job openings nationwide. Phone and fax machines are available to contact local employers.

Job Listings - Access job listings on the job search computers or online at MinnesotaWorks, along with a variety of other job search related bookmarks.

Resume Builders - You can create your resume on MinnesotaWorks. Qualified employers and private employment agencies can access this through the Internet. They can review your qualifications in relationship to their job openings, and if interested, employers will contact you directly. WinWay Resume software is also available to help you build your personalized resume.

Career Research - Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) and ISEEK software programs.

Library Materials - Access to job search and career materials, labor market information, community resources, salary survey, postsecondary school catalogs, financial aid information, and more.

Keyboarding - Learn the keyboard or increase your typing speed with a Typing Tutorial computer program.

Veterans - A Veteran representative is available in St Cloud to help Veterans with particular needs such as training, VA assistance, referral to agencies dealing exclusively with veterans, and special job search assistance. Click here.

Adult Basic Education (ABE) through Monticello Community Education in a partnership with the Monticello Workforce Center offers the following instructional/training programs at the Workforce Center: Introduction to Computers, GED Pretests and Preparation, Basic Skills Instruction in reading comprehension, math & writing in preparation for college entrance exams, preparation for the Special Boiler's exam, preparation for Certified Nursing Assistant course work, and Learning Needs Screening.

Classes are taught by a MN certified licensed instructor.
