This information comes from a variety of government and private organizations and is linked together in a way that saves you time as you move from career planning to education planning and job searching. The degree of interaction and cross-reference that ISEEK offers is unique among Web-based career, job, and education services.

America's Career Infonet -  Smart career decisions start here! Find wages and employment trends, occupational requirements, state by state labor market conditions, millions of employer contacts nationwide, and the most extensive career resource library online.

Minnesota Careers - See a comprehensive collection of articles on career planning and exploration; skills, wages, employment growth, education and outlook; and schools, program listings, financial aid, and more!

Minnesota's Virtual University - MnVU links you to more than 30,000 courses from many public and private education providers in Minnesota. You can find courses on a great variety of subjects delivered via all types of methods, for example, via the Internet, satellite TV, or on-campus classrooms. Since parts of MnVU are still being developed, we invite you to visit often and to share your suggestions and comments about MnVU with us. MnVU is a partnership of many education providers representing nearly every side and corner of Minnesota, including:

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the University of Minnesota, and the Minnesota Private
   College Council

Proprietary schools, community education, private training providers, and private    companies.

These partners form a unique learner-driven gateway to Minnesota higher education and opportunities for lifelong learning.

MCIS - Minnesota Career Information System

Occupational Information Network (O-NET) - Making occupational information interactive and accessible for all..

Career Resource System (CRS) - CRS provides web-driven links between students and employers/mentors for students to gain real-life experience with work. Its goal is to enable educators to connect students with employers.

Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center - The HHH Job Corps Center provides a residential employee training program for eligible young adults. It is a great way to gain skills for employment.

Occupational Outlook Handbook - This site has the same information as the print version of the Occupational Outlook Handbook; employment, wages, training, working conditions, trends, and outlook for hundreds of occupations.

What Color Is Your Parachute? - By Richard Nelson Bolles, Both the book and website have lots of information about finding a career that's right for you, doing research on a career or a company, and networking.
