Creative Job Search:
A comprehensive, but not "exhaustive" OVERVIEW of the job search
process. This course will introduce you to the general content of the
Creative Job Search Guide which a job seeker can use as a self
study or as a resource when attending other workshop sessions. At the end of the
session, attendees will be equipped with the skills necessary to manage their own
successful job search campaign.
Basic Computer Skills:
This workshop addresses some of the basic skills needed to feel
comfortable in using a computer. A variety of subjects are covered, such as,
getting started, basic word processing, internet navigation and email.
Job Search:
A four day training session to assist with skill identification, how and
where to find job openings, applications, interview techniques, resume building,
cover and thank you letters, and success on the job.
Career Exploration:
A two day workshop designed to give you the opportunity to
explore different occupations and to come up with an occupational goal.
