Generally it is best to begin your job search with
MinnesotaWorks.net (formerly MN
Job Bank) and local web sites if you intend to stay in the metro area, as local employers tend
to use local resources. These national and specialized job web sites are national
or international in scope, which may or may not have some metro job listings.
Some will feature resume postings or viewing of job listings by geographical area (i.e..
Minneapolis or Minnesota) or helpful job search advice or all of the above. Be
forewarned! You should not reveal your Social Security number or your own personal e-mail
account information such as username and password. Use common sense.
