Employer Incentives

Unique job development and applicant referral

Your company can benefit financially when you accept our employee referrals.  It is possible to be reimbursed for extraordinary costs associated with providing on-the-job training to individuals who have specific barriers to employment (...age, long-term unemployed, or lack of work experience).

On-the-Job Training wage reimbursement

If you are the manager or owner of a small operation who hires only one or two new employees, pays $7.00 per hour or more then; you could receive reimbursement of up to 50 percent of one or two trainees' wages for extraordinary costs incurred during on-the-job training in full-time positions.  Length of training and reimbursement depends upon the complexity of the job.  Reimbursement may occur for training mature workers hired in full- or part-time.  All prospective employees must complete an application in order to be eligible for funding assistance.  A simple contract is signed prior to hiring or training.

Customized industry specific training/wage reimbursement

Hiring three or more full-time employees and paying $7 per hour or more?   Industry specific training will reimburse one-half of their salaries while they are trained to your specifications at your work site or in classes at local colleges in which groups of workers receive instruction on your company's processes.  Length of training and reimbursement depends upon complexity of job duties.  All prospective employees must complete an application in order to be eligible for funding assistance.   A simple contract is signed prior to hiring or training.

Dislocated worker outplacement services

When your company is forced into a position of downsizing, we can help soften the blow to terminated employees.  Our staff meets with management and collective bargaining representatives, conducts workshops on subjects ranging from How to Cope with Unemployment to Job Seeking and Interviewing skills, and provides skills upgrading or retraining necessary for reemployment.  No fees are charged for any services.

Work Opportunities Tax Credit (WOTC)

The WOTC program provides employers with federal tax credits as an incentive for hiring members of targeted groups who traditionally have difficulty finding jobs. Information on Work Opportunities Tax Credit (WOTC).
