The Dakota-Scott Youth Council exists to ensure that our young people
enter adulthood ready to succeed. To make that happen, we connect
you, the youth worker, to programs that put them to work - to work
finishing their education, to work preparing for a job, to work becoming
successful adults. For these first-rate services to be available to as
many at-risk kids as possible, the Youth Council works closely with an
ever-widening circle of community partners through a variety of advocacy
opportunities. |

Listening to young people allows us to hear what they think about the
opportunities available to them now - and to identify opportunities they
need. By focusing local attention on youth issues in our country,
and by connecting program-eligible kids with local support programs we
strive to serve the needs of an often-forgotten group of young adults.
Our best ideas come from you. Invite us to meet with you and your
group or call the Youth Council at 651.554.5972 for the information we
can provide and the connections you need. |
