Welcome to the Minnesota WorkForce Center System. This system is a partnership effort based on the "one-stop service" concept for employment services. The partnership brings state, county, nonprofit employment and training agencies and related services together in one location to provide job seekers and employers comprehensive and integrated services. The partnership is comprised of  the following agencies: Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development's Job Service, Rehabilitation Services and  Veteran Services,  along with Workforce Development Inc and Experience Works.  Job seekers and employers will discover this system to be easily accessible, flexible and responsive to customers' needs.

A visit to a conveniently located WorkForce Center will be highlighted with informed staff to assist job seekers with accessing a wide array of services. Located within each WorkForce Center job seekers will find a state-of-the-art technology Resource Center for job search and career exploration. Personal computer work stations are equipped with Internet, word processing programs and career information. The WorkForce Center-Albert Lea also offers a variety of specialized programs and services that customers may be qualified for.

Employers are important to the WorkForce Center system and a variety of services are provided through the local WorkForce Centers. Most services are free and designed to benefit business owners, managers, personnel managers and operational level staff. Services are focused around two key areas-recruiting assistance and reducing tax and business costs.
